The 1998 Silver Oak Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon has a lovely crimson color with very slight browning around the rim. Aromatically, it offers aromas of fresh-cut grass and bright berry fruit. It is a lively but lighter wine on entry and carries medium weight. The tannins have softened and frame the medium-length finish well. Decanting suggested. Drink now.
